No, you will have to buy a jet kit. You just have to remove the carb and turn it to the side to take the float bowl off to replace the main jet.</end quote></div>

would you be able to give me a quick how to change the oil and oil filter on the warrior ? i'm gonna do that this weekend as well as the spark plug before i ride.

you can download a free manual for your Warrior from sandwizards.com/tips&tricks........It will tell you everything you need to know for maintenance on your quad.

The plug is on the bottom of the case, its a like a 19mm, but my 3/4" 6 point socket does a better job than my 12pt 19mm, a spring and screen filter will come out with the plug, clean those up and make sure the seat on the screen is clean and reoil it before putting the plug back in. The filter is on the front-left side of the motor, has 3 allen head bolts to take the cover off and it just slides right out. Make sure you put the new one in with the closed side pointing away from the quad, and be sure the O-ring gasket on the cover is still in good shape.

Ok so i ordered a bunch of parts, for the tune up and i bough t a new intake. I got the Pro Design Pro flow Fltr. The guy at the shop said i didn't need to rejet so i didn't get a jet kit. I haven't installed this on yet so was wondering what was going to happen if installed and i don't rejet ? will the bike still run ?

also no instructions included and i'm pretty sure it's just plug and play. But it looks like i may have to drill holes to mount the billet "bracket". do you have any idea as to how this installs ? Do i still use the airbox lid with this set up ?

any help would be great. i'm so amped to go up and ride this weekend.

You can run the Pro Design setup with or without the airbox lid. Without the airbox lid will allow the engine to draw in more air for more power. The advantage to keeping the lid on is to help keep water out of the intake if you are riding in a lot of water. I personally would rejet it if you are installing the Pro Design intake and definately rejet it if you are running it without the airbox lid.

And yes, to mount the billet adapter you will have to drill some holes and it bolts to the airbox.

If you are putting a pipe and filter on you will have to rejet--otherwise you will be running your motor lean and risking getting it too hot and causing serious issues. When I bought my HMF pipe--with just the pipe and a K&N they sent me 152.5 main, and thats from what they figured out from lab testing etc--so I am thinking that shop guy may have been a little confused. (Which is why we are here, a second opinion is a good thing to have, I always check for one and I recommend anyone to do it, some of these mechanics are not exactly top notch)

This weekend was great the bike is running great. Changed the oil & filter, spark plug. We installed the new air filter was a piece of cake. so far so good.

So i realized though that i do need to get tires. what are the size tires that fit on the warrior. i kind of like that wider look that the Maxxis 2's give. however i will mostly bee riding trails, mud & a lot of snow so i'm pretty sure i would go with the ITP Mudlite's.

What i'd like to do is get the Maxxis 2's up front and the ITP mudlites in the back.

can you tell me what sizes i would need or what you'd recomend ?

thanks again for all your help !
