I found a 05 YFZ 450 that there selling online for a 1000. Yeah it needs some work but was wondering if i could get some advice to see if its even worth it. Its not running right know and guy claims it just needs a starter and new battery to get running. But he claims if you want to get it in tip top shape in needs New plastics cause there worn, starter, battery, chain front bumper, new slip on exhaust. says it has a new top end and clutch in it. what do you think is it better to buy one in running condition. I dont mind working on it. Thanks

 

Well id say go for it
i know around here where im from you cant touch a yfz for anything less then 2500
a 1000 dollars pretty much jus covers that new top end n clutch
id go for it

 

where do you live? If you dont buy it I will.

I'd stay away from that thing.. if it needs that much work and is only 3/4 years old... he gave you the list of things that he KNOWS needs fixing... I am sure there are more...

In my opinion... Walk away from that one...
