Default 4 Wheel light staying on 2005 Grizzly

Anyone had trouble with the 4 wheel drive light staying on? It is not in 4 wheel drive but the light is staying on and the diff lock light is on. It also cuts out when trying to accelerate. Thanks

I would say that it is still in diff lock and 4 wheel. When in diff lock it will cut out to keep from going too fast. I often have to work at it to get my Kodiak to release from diff lock. Can you hear it trying to disengage when you push the button?

I can feel it disengaging out of 4 wheel drive. I can tell it is going in and out of 4 wheel drive like it should. Could the belt be causing the cutting out?

With my Kodiak it will make a noise as the disengages, but the light won't go out until the locker lets go. I hear it disengage but I can drive around and the light stays on and it is still in 4x4 or locker. I often have to speed up or slow down to get it to let go so the light goes off. Is it possible that yours is stuck? Have you tried pushing the override button to see if that stops the cutting out? My Kodiak has power limited while in front lockout. If I push the override button I get full power for pulling out of mud or whatever. Maybe the switch that turns on the light and power limiter is stuck. Have you had it in deep mud?

i have a 03 660 grizzly and am having the same problem the sensor in the servo has to be bad the only way around this is to install an override switch unless you want to buy the servo motor the speed limit switch is located in the servo but u can only buy it as one whole servo not just the speed sensor
