Default 1988 blaster

hi guys i just bought a 1988 yamaha blaster $400!!!! i bought it from my friend thing is it doesnt run, low compression, has a new coil new tires, the only thing i think is wrong with it is the reeds in it are bad. now since it has low compression im going to bore it out to a 240cc (not too expansive though)but i dont know where to get them online iv heard a handful of different brandnames and am not sure what gives the best power i mostly want it for low end to medium range and when i hammer it i can beat my friends Honda 400ex and i also want a stroker kit for it for even more performance but i also will need jet kits, exhaust, intake, and please dont give me the brand name DG for exhaust there terrible they only give sound not performance maybe fmf or hmf this is going to be one expansive project so i might want to sell my honda 250ex if anyone is interested its a 2003 Honda 250ex Stock, excelent condition just changed oil tranny, engine oil cleaned air filter clean no front bumperm plastic is alittle scratched (normal) any one in the region is interested i live in Griswold CT zip 06351 if any questions send message to my profile

vitos makes 240 kits and a few other products that are pretty good 4 blasters, toomey b1 pipe kit is one of the nice pipes, vforce3 reeds, +4 timing key, either a K&N or uni clamp on filter, porting gives best power though honestly.

i have the vitos 240 . i love it this thing flies. i already had ct racing pipe and now i just got a 34mm carb. if i could start over i would get the sonic 240 kit from ct racing. not that i dont like my set up , but in the end it would have been cheaper. good luck
