86 moto4 200

Default 86 moto4 200

i have an 86 moto4 200 and it runs great. when i turn a corner a grinding-clunking sound comes from the rear. is the transmission going bad? please help

sounds more like an axle or rear diff problem than a clutch problem. is it comeing from the engine/tranny case itself?

i cant really tell where its comming from. but after i rode for a few hours in the snow the sound stopped. maybe something was frozen and then it melted? thanks for any help

if it was me i would check your rear diffirential oil, and change it if you cant remember the last time it was changed. 5 mins and like $5.00 for a bottle of 80w hypoid gear oil

o and mabe take some WD-40 and lube the swing arm and any moveing parts
