Yamaha Breeze carb issues
#1
I'd like to think all who replied to my earlies post about carb problems with my Yamaha Breeze, thanks alot. However, that carb problems was solved by purchasing a like carburetor, but I now have a new issue. With the new carburetor installed the ATV will start and run for a short time, but then shuts down and will only restart using the choke and giving it gas and will run for a short time and then shuts off again. The carb was supposed to come pre-adjusted but it may need additional adjustments. If anyone could provided me with correct carb adjustment procedures or any other suggestions concerning this issue I would be greatfull.

If it starts and runs good and then shuts off, you don't have a carb setting problem IMHO.
One of two issues.
Either a fuel flow problem. (Something in the gas tank or hose or or petcock)
Or
A venting problem. (Vent tube to the carb or gas tank not letting the fuel flow to the carb)
