I just found an awsome deal on a DG rear bumper for a early model banshee.. I can make it fit my bike if I bend the bottom 2 mounting brackets to align with my skidplate bolts. I am talking about the rear BUMPER, it is supposed to bolt to the rear carrier and protect your disc\chain. Question is, Are these bumpers any good? Would bolting it to the skidplate mounts be a good\bad idea?

these bumpers were made for tt and motocross ,in the event of a rear end collision they protected your caliper, disk and swing arm,i gave one away the other day if you trail ride it might get hung up.
