grizzly 660 front drive shaft?
Ok here is the whole story. Just bought a camo 2005 660 with 900 miles for $2500. I got it cheap because it was wrecked into a stump and front lower a arm mount was destroyed and frame has been bent. I am getting the frame fixed by my cousin who is a welder/fabricator. Previous owner must have cut main front drive shaft in half instead of removing it to try and staighten the frame. Dont ask me why. Anyways they cut it in the middle and then welded it back together and put a piece of angle iron over the shaft and welded that to it. It works fine but i want to change it to avoid future problems.

i would want it changed as well! most front axels are not too hard to get out. i would highly recomend buying a service manual, it tells you how to do lots of things. usually how to change drive shafts. i do know you will have to lossen the front diff and slide it ahead. after that im unsure off-hand what is next. but im sure you can do it at home
good luck!
good luck!
