Default warrior

Hello, I have an 99 warrior that was running fine , but shut it off and went to satrt it again and its stuck in gear ,pulling in the clutch dont help . Hit the starter button and its in gear wont start. Anybody know anything about this? I am no mechanic lol.

Well if you can handle doing the work yourself, take apart the clutch to make sure that is fine. Could be the crank or tranny though which will be a shops job. sorry not much help but its better than nada

so by you saying it shutoff you mean like you were riding it and the rear wheels locked up then stalled? or just the engine it self cut off? make sure nothing is somehow stuck in the sprocket or anything first off, this would really suprise me if it was a tranny prob, warriors have bulletproof trannies.

No, it was running fine ,I shut it off to take a break , and when I tried to start it back up it was like stuck in gear and wont shift. thanks

oh, ok so you were in first gear and just shut it off without shifting in neutral, then u try to start it with ofcourse it being in gear, and pulling in the clutch would usually let you start while its in gear, hmm, check to make sure you clutch cable didnt break anywhere, is there still the same resistance when you pull on the lever? try standing up on it and rock it back and forth while trying to change the gear and see if it will either shift up or down.
