2000 blaster control module on 1988?

Default 2000 blaster control module on 1988?
i heard that a 2000 cdi will work on an 1988 blaster
but i donno if a 2000 control module will work on my 88 anyone know

Default 2000 blaster control module on 1988?
pretty sure it will, all parts are swap-able except for the newest models have different front brakes, front fender, headlight.
