Default warriors any good?

The guy I got mine from said he clocked it at 67mph topped out. I'm not to sure about that, given his size, the sprocket size, tire size, and basic mathmatics. It is fast however, but the distance he said it did it in just screamed " no really my nose do'es this when it's cold." Anything above 45mph seems alot faster than it is without a windsheild in front of you. Not saying it's impossible, but it is very unlikely on a stock or slightly modified motor. Just out of curiousity, what tire's were you running?

mine prolly doesnt do much more then 60ish but i could be wrong mines geared low, i ride xc type terrain mostly, and its rare to even get into 6th gear so its fine for me,mine will chop through gears pretty fast for being a warrior, thats what i like is how quick it is for bein an old bike.

I have right around $1000 in my warrior and I don't have any problems keeping up with my friends on the trails or open sand. My friend has a 660 kawi prairie and riding around with him last week I never had to get over half throttle.

Thats a good deal, look it over very carefully though. Just so you know Blaster's are 200cc

I have a 1989 warrior no problem spinning tires. I have owned this atv for about 16 years. Runs great the only thing I put in the motor was a clutch, new brushes for the starter. As the rest normal wear and tear. Im 6 ft 250 lb this has been a great atv for me so far.
