You need to check your battery voltage, should be right around 13v. I think you probably knocked a ground wire loose somewhere. Check all your grounds, and make sure your battery terminals didn't get damaged when that wire got ripped apart/off.

 

yea it was the battery, i started charging it today and the starter relay started buzzing

 

i left the battery charging for a while after school yesterday and when i turned the key to turn the bike on, i heard this small "click/buzz" sound as if the battery had drained, and when i pushed the start button it wouldnt buzz anymore. now what should i do?

 

Does the buzzing sound like it's coming from the motor? or behind you? I'm thinking the starter might be bound, not able to turn which would explain the buzzing noise you heard. The starter on mine got fried, it lost a magnet on out side of the windings that might of shorted it out.

Will jumping the solenoid start it? If so than the solenoid took a dump.
