If you sand them real well and put a base coat of primer im sure it would hold up for a couple years.

You don't have to do alot of prep to use the fusion paint.Clean the plastics real good then wipe down with paint thinner to get them really clean, then spray away

Krylon spray paint works really well on ATV plastic. When I bought a set of used plastic for my 1999 Sport 400 and painted it with the Krylon spray paint the only thing that I did was wash the plastic and then spray paint it.I think that it turned out okay.

hopefully it will last then, because with painting anything usually the more prep work the better, looks pretty good though.

The Krylon Fusion paint is a no-prep, superbond paint designed for plastic that doesn't require any sanding or priming. My main concern was that when the plastic would bend the paint would crack and come off, but so far it hasn't.It doesn't look as good as new plastic would or a professional paint job would, but I only have around $9 invested in my paint ($4.50 a can).I race my ATV's so the plastic tends to get scratched up and scuffed anyways.

I used krylon fusion, seems to be holding up fine, I washed my plastics real well, sanded out some scratches in the plastic and deglossed the plastic with some steelwool, than washed all surfaces with mineral spirits to make sure there were no oils on the plastics.

If you properly prep your plastics and use Krylon Fusion for plastics or another comparable plastics paint it will hold up fine. It only looks as good as the time you put into it.
