Default 2001 Grizzly 600 Maint.

I am a first time rider and just picked up a nicely used 2001 Grizzly 600 with only 500 miles. I want to change the fluids and filters. The manual does a pretty good job on this. I just want to know if there is anything I will need to do "special" that is not covered in the manual. Also, besides the fluids and oil filter, is there anything else you would reccomend? Thanks for any feedback.

The repair manual covers pretty much everything. Keep an eye on your fluid levels. Change them if water gets in. Keep an eye on tire pressure. Have fun and ride.

Welcome to the forums!

Thank you for the reply. I was hoping it would be that easy. I just wanted to make sure that the Grizzly did not have any inherent problems that I needed to be on the lookout for.

None that I am aware of. If it does, i'm sure you can post the problem here and get an answer in no time.

We ride with a 99 600 grizzly, for the last 8 years on our fishing trips and the bike never acted up, nice do it all kind of ATV. The persons only problem was muddy water got into the drum brake housing causing it to fade and freeze up in the winter.
