Thats true. I had forgotten that they had those. If you can get one with the clamp in style I would. I have the drop in style. I have never had any problems with it but it is kind of a crappy design. It's hard to get the little foam gasket to mash down into the slot with the filter.

yea drop ins are crap, specially if you choose to run your bike with the lid off, because then the filter will just be sitting in there not fastened in at all, you need a kit like this

and when its installed it looks like this, which is way better its actually fastened direct

Cool - thanks. I picked up 2 news jets for $5 at a local dealer. A 147.5 and a150. I found a place that sells the pro flow K&N kit for just under $100 so I am going to order that next. Once I have it on, I am going to rejet with the 147.5 first...if that's not enough, then I'll do the 150.

hmf jet kits are for their pipes, it might not match another pipes specs, most likey the pipe you have on your bike would be a DG or Cobra...pretty common on old warriors and they will be old with no nameplates, the pipes are really crappy in the first place, mine had a Cobra on it when i first got it, and switching from cobra to the HMF was a night and day difference in sound and power.
