Default Dead spot in throttle

1999 Yamaha warrior. When you pin the throttle the engine bogs down and kills itself, but if you slowly push the throttle the thing will rev up. I know there is an accelerator pump in the carb and when you push the throttle it pumps gas towards the cylinder. What can I do to remove the dead spot.

The pump is probably sticking. You need a good carb cleaning and to probably replace the accelerator pump spring.

Have you changed the exhaust, the intake or the air filter??? If so, the jetting could be lean... IE: too much air. Increase Pilot jet, possibly the needle setting as well. Any other changes?? You could also maybe have an air leak... If not, carb made need cleaning as was posted..
