Default Lost my blaster key!

I lost my key while i was on a camping trip. I just cannot find it. I do not have the title for my quad either. I already unplugged the ignition and i ride it. But i want the key. There is no key code on the ignition either.

And plus where do i go to have one made? haha 2005 Yamaha blaster

Go to the dealer and buy a new ignition.

Go to any auto parts store and buy a generic ignition switch and wire it in. Stick one key on your keyring, and the other on the quad.

There's lots of ignition switch's w keys on ebay. But no having a title won't stop you from being able to but the part form the dealer.

My understanding is that most (if not all) Yamaha quads use the same type/style ignition key switch. If you can find a 'junk' Yamaha quad with the key & switch still on it...you could pirate it. That's what I did for my warrior. The PO had lost the key so my buddy got one from a neighbor's junked smaller yamaha quad...a kids 90cc one I think it was....and just pirated it. It was identical to mine and worked like a charm. The best part was the cost - $0. Gotta love that!
