Default 96 warrior frame ?

I just purchased a 96 warrior with a cracked frame, I found one which says it is for warrior years of 97 to 04. It is actually a frame off of a 2001 warrior. My question is, will this 2001 frame work for my 1996? I would just be purchasing the frame and moving everything else off mine over. After talking to the seller. he said that he is positive that the a arms, engine, all suspension parts, and body will line up, but he is not sure whether I think he said the electrical boxes, etc. will not line up work. If any could help me, it would be greatly appreciated, I dont really want to purchase a frame, start bolting parts on and find out that its not going to work.

Thanks

I agree with speedy. I wouldn't worry about it. I think all of the warrior frames are the same and even if one or two electrical components don't mount up exactly the same, it wouldn't be that big of a deal to rig up your own mounts unless your building a show bike.

thanks for the replys, i figured an 01 frame would work to, but when I called yamaha, they told me that it probably would not work because the plastic would not match. they said the frames were the same from 91 to 97. he did not seem like he was to sure though. if anyone out there knows where I can get a 96 frame, let me know. thanks again for all the help.

the frame is pretty beat up underneath, and a crack. i just figured rather than fixing it, i would rather get a new one, for the 01 that I was looking at, he was asking $100.00.
