Default Carb Plug!

I have a 1998 Wolverine that the carb float was stuck on which dumped fuel in the oil. I just drained and replaced oil/fitler and removed the carb bowl to free up the float. When I put this all back together I noticed that the bowl drain would leak if the quad was shaken at all. I removed the plug cleaned it out and replaced but it still does this.

Is this normal or do I need an new drain plug?

I'd say you need to re-adjust your float level. Down just a hair. It's coming out the overflow when you shake the bike, not the plug. The overflow is the thin brass tube running from inside the bottom of the bowl up towards the jets in the carb.
It bypasses the plug.
