Just curious what you folks think of Lucas Additives with ATVs. I have heard both ways, what do you guys think?

 

I only use additives to solve problems. I have never had an oil problem in anything I have ever owned. EVER!! Race cars, blown engins, turbo engines, street car, quad, tractor, you name it.
Why spend the money if I have never had an oil problem? Do you have oil related problems? If so, you need to find out the root problem and not just throw a band-aid at it.

My advice is to save your money and spend it on safety equip or go fast equip.

 

I agree with Doc. I just don't like pouring anything into my oil tank but, oil. I have however had a case where the injector cleaner helped after getting a load of some crap gas.

 

I'd be especially careful if you added any type of lubricant (Lucas, Slick 50, etc..) to a wet clutch system.

 

Let me clarify that. In a vehicle. No experience with it in ATV's.
