Default Clutch installation help on Warrior

Whats up guys....Ive got a 2002 Warrior and I just replaced my clutch and I need some help please.

When tightening the pressure plate bolts....should they bottom out against the spring....meaning when fully tightened should there be any slack in the springs because mine are now fully pressed.

How do I properly install the cover aligning the lever correctly. I see the markings but having some issues.

I installed everything and it seemed to go smooth...but now it feels like the clutch isnt even engaged. The lever is sooooo easy to move, it feels like its not making contact with the pushrod.

Any and all help would be hugely appreciated!!!!!

you tighten the 5 bolts with the springs underneath till they are tight against the plate.. if you didn't do this, it's your problem

so your saying the pressure plate bolts...the 5 of them. Tighten them so they touch the plate evenly? and do NOT keep tightening them until the spring bottoms out and cant be tightened anymore?

Any of the other questions that could be answered would be great too......thnx

you tighten them till the bolts bottom out.. if you don't have them tight.. #1 they'll vibrate out.. and #2 there won't be any pressure to engage the clutch

anyone? I did a search here and was able to find very little useful info. One thing I did find was someone mentioning that there is a small ball....kind of like a bearing that can fall out of the pushrod hole when changing the clutch packs..Is this true? I didnt see anything fall out but can anyone confirm this? Maybe a pic or better description of this?

Is there anything else that could cause an easy lever that feels like its not even engaging the clutch????

ya the ball is at the end of the long rod that is in the center of the basket, you use that to adjust the clutch
