Yeah I figured, I wasn't attacking you, I was just pointing out that the wheel companies themselves are delusional too..... I've read Hyper say their wheels are "twice as strong" as aluminum....

Yeah...sure.... what "aluminum" are they comparing it too? I guarantee its not a .190 Baja wheel from ITP or DWT..... fact is a .190 is probably "twice as strong" as a stock softie aluminum wheel..... "stronger" is such a relative term because there is no way to know how they tested to come to that conclusion. Typical advertising bogus....

I was at Broome-Tioga one day and saw a guy literally explode a Hyper carbon fiber wheel landing off a big double.....The guy was so pissed, saying that this was his 2nd pair....his had not been covered by any warranty.......

If there is any carbon fiber wheel with a "lifetime warranty" I can guarantee you that they'd consider "racing" to be "beyond manufacturing defect" ......

I didn't take it as an attack, we're all good . The warranty stuff is what I have heard from people on the boards. I just went to the Hiper website and under their warranty information I do not see anywhere where is states there is a lifetime warranty against breakage.

I belive the Raptor and the YFZ use the same size wheels therfore using just a good set of new tires like Razr II's usualy helps if you have not done so already. Much cheeper than going with carbon fiber wheels! See my pic below!
