wolverine parking brake problem?

Default wolverine parking brake problem?

i have an 01 wolverine and i was recently riding it when out of the blue it started spiten and sputering so i stoped checked the gas and i had half a tank then i checked the choke and it was off so i took it home and sprayed blaster all over the back brakes and brake cables but i havent touched the parking brake in a long time and how could it just randomly turn on..... do you have any idea what is going on

I had a similar problem with my 02 Wolvy. As you might know, there's a rev limiter incorporated with the parking brake. I had mine to the dealer - he fiddled with the parking brake lever on the bars (sprayed it/worked it)and that fixed the problem. Apparently, they're known for this problem - sometimes, the switch in the parking brake lever intermittently engages the brake limiter, of course, when you don't want it to.
