But it's a shame, the quad is brand new,
never saw dirt. The kid rode it maybe three
times on the road and banked a right turn
breaking the right headlight and tweaking the
bars. The quad isn't even broken in yet
and he's letting go $1700
well 1700 is a good price...and they are good all around quads and everything, but comparing to a 450,banshee,660,700 or any of the other top dog atvs is just poop, depends on how you feel about it, is it worth it to you? or would you rather maybe spend a little more money and find something faster.

A 350 Raptor still would be fun. Some people Would rather have that then a higher maintenance 450 race ATV.

Well my brother in law wanted to see the 350 run even after
I told him he won't be able to hang with the big boys. The
quad was sitting for about a year or two, after changing
the gas it fired up but needs a serious tune up. He told
him he would think About it and I told my brother in law to
look for a bigger quad. The guy just call him and said he'd
take $1500, he just wants it gone!

Should he say screw it and buy it or blow it off?
What's the thought on this?????

I don't think he would be disappointed for 1500. He can always sell it down the road if it's not enough for him. If he does sell it he won't be losing anything maybe even sell for a profit.

the raptor 350 is a great trail machine, the hold back is it uses an older design warrior power plant. they were not torque monsters. it's not in the same class as a screeming banshee or a neck jercking 450. you can get good power with the typical mods, and even some head work. most people have found the raptor 250 the better choice because it's lighter and responds better to the same mods. i have a pretty wicked yfz450r, and a raptor 250 for my daughter. with a pipe, intake, jet kit, and 15/37 sprockets and holeshot 18teens. i find myself riding it more. anyway the raptor 350 is a great machine for weekend, dunes, playing at the track, and trail riding.

The Raptor 350 is a good beginner adult quad. I had a 2001 Warrior (now called a 350 Raptor) for my first quad - I sold it two week later and bought a 400ex, because it wasn't a good race quad, and that's what I wanted to do. For trails and just riding around, though - it's fine........
