hi,i recently bought a 1998 grizzly 600.it will start and run great untill it gets hot,it will backfire once and quit.it won't start again untill it sits and cools,then it will start back up and run untill it gets hot.i have replaced the cdi box,pick up coil,checked the wiring from the stator.the previous owner had the stator checked at a yamaha dealer,and i also checked the ohms on the stator.
the previous owner,had the screens cleaned in the fuel tank,installed a carb kit.
i have a factory manual ,and a haynes manual.any ideas? i'm fusterated,it seems to work better for my fiance',she can ride it and it won;t quit on her,i ride it quits.
