I've been fighting a carb issue that seems that I can't find or solve. I've had the carb rebuilt by a shop and it ran good till the stator in the bike went out agin. Got that back and fixed and now it will pop back through the carb, like a cough, and the idle won't set. I don't like the complicated mikuni carb, theres too many ports and parts on it. I would like to get a differnt carb for the bike. I talked with a member here that has a Kehin carb on his but he didn't do the swap and I don't know where to get the spacer to connect the carb to the intake boot. Does anyone know where to get a bolt on carb kit to replace the stock carb othere the elebrock one?

 

you can take the intake manifold from a raptor 350 and then fit a z400 carb on there

 

I'll do some resrech on that route. I did have some time at lunch and I found that DG performance had a keihin kit but it was a twist throttle instead of a thumb one.
