Yamaha Blaster Wont start or idle
#1
I have a 1998 yamaha blaster heres the mods: "New Boyesen reeds and assembly New main jet 280 is the size, fmf power core pipe with goldboy header and no lid on air box" I had it running like 4 times but didnt drive it around its getting spark and i cleaned the carb. Heres the weird thing when i kick it it sound like its not tryin to start when i give it full throttle it makes a deep thump noise or a bogging noise. So it sounds like its gettin the gas. But it still has the stock piolet jet and i didnt know if i have to adjust that or the needle jet?

i had almost the same setup an didnt have to change the pilot or needle so i wouldnt think that would be it wheres the air\fuel screw set at you might have low compression caused by worn rings makeing it hard to start check all your base an head bolts the base should torqued to 18 an the head should be 20 ft./lbs.
