I bought an aftermarket shifter last weekend. It is an EMGO unit. not of the highest quality, but it gets the job done and it was only $12. Unfortunitly my trans is still f'd up so I pulled the motor Tuesday night and dropped it off last night at a shop i do a lot of business with trust them. Anyways I'll try to get the part number for the shifter and post it tonight. It is about an inch longer (distance from shift shaft) but it feels real nice.
