got this bike a week ago the guy i got it from said the float maybe bad.so ordered a rebuild kit and its still on order. so i decided to take the carb apart and cleaned all of it. the bike started but couldnt adjust the carb there is a hesitation when u hit the throttle but wants got lilttle bit above idle it would run fine . at a losss dont know what to any suggestion would be great

 

try adjusting the fuel screw, its a flat screw at the bottom of the bowl, kinda hard to get to and can suck when your trying to dial it in since u can burn ur hand very easy but i think stock reccomendation is like 2 1/4 turns out, then go from there.

 

got it running sunday ran great.went through a creek and it shut off. wouldnt start back up so i pulled it w another atv and it started up. now it just wont start at all. when it does it backfires and thats it

 

most likely the stator wiring got wet, the wire that goes out of the left side case and goes into the harness under the back fender, hopefully that didnt just cause it to crap out, because when those stators start to go bad they wont start by the button but a skid start spins the engine faster letting the stator get just enough spark to let it fire up.

 

yea, he's probably right. My stator went bad about 3-4 weeks ago, it was the same exact problem. There is a glazing on each stator coil, and if it burns off or a piece of the engine casing cracks and metal bits grind it off, then the coils will overheat causing it not to put out enough juice.

 

yea the way the warriors one-way clutch and stator,flywheel assembly is put together honestly is a pretty shatty one, such a common problem with warriors that its obvious the design is kinda flawed, i would definitely recommend water proofing your stator wiring all the way to the harness, what i did was use dialectric grease for the connections and i did a fat electrical tape job over the new stators wiring, i taped it up closer to the actual stator it self so inside the case is taped also and that grommet that pushes inside the case for the stator wiring also make sure its sealed really good.
