Default Moto 4 Ignition Timing

Can you adjust the ignition timing on a moto 4? I have set the intake and exhaust valve clearing and it is in time correctly. I am thinking the ignition timing is off because I took the carb off and when I look through the intake valve I can see the spark plug ignite. It will fire once and shoot fire out the intake valve. Any ideas?

The ignition timing can only be out if the flywheel slips. T mark on flywheel must agree with true top dead centre by watching piston through plug hole. If they slip, they slip a lot so it should be obvious if it is out. If you set the valve timing by the T mark and the T mark is out, you will have set that wrong too.
