Default 2002 yamaha blaster brakes HELP PLEASE

Hey, I have a 2002 Yamaha Blaster i have Yamaha Banshee disc breaks that i bought a few weeks ago and i want to put them on the front sofar there goin on with minimal problems, but the parking break is a problem because theres no parking break on the banshee breaks. I hope someone could help me and tell me how to take the parking break off and what to do after that.

Thanks Bruce.

Assuming you have the entire brake system, you will be replacing the Brake lever and putting on a reservoir and lines for the brakes. You can cut the cable in front of the ball where it attaches to the foot lever to keep using the rear brakes as they are. I think I have seen after market cables available for this modification also....

yeah i have the intire assembly, but if i cut the cable infront of the ball how will i keep the cable from sliding though the hole of the foot pedal and not working? what do i put on the cable to keep it from doing that?

Wire tie,..... until you can get a hydraulic rear set-up too.....

Criss cross a couple of wire ties around the cable/ball, to keep it in the slot/hole for the cable..... they're cheap and plastic, so keep spares under the seat in a baggie.....
