Raptor chain long enough for 43 tooth sprocket?
#1
I might have made a mistake. I knew that the 42 tooth would fit from the other posts and from my measurements, the 43 tooth will clear the PRM skidplate, but I didn't think about the stock chain being long enough.
I'm also going to a 12 tooth front sprocket. My question to anyone that has done the rear swap is, Will I have enough length in the stock chain to fit around the 43 tooth rear or will I have to get a master link or half link to do it? If it's one of the later options, will I be able to get an O-ring half or master link?
Thanks for the help guys.
PS>>> I't sounds like I'm really gearing it lower, but I put taller back tires on. When finished, it will be geared about like a 12-tooth front sprocket with stock tires.

Bash, Does the 42 rear sprocket fit without shiming prm skip plate down for sure? I looked at mine and it looks like a 42 would hit chain guide on skid plate does it? I wanna know for sure before I go and buy a 42 does it fit with out shiming skid plate down and does it rub on chain guide at all?
Thanks
Thanks
