Default warrior leaking gas

My warrior is leaking gas from the carb drain line. The drain screw is tight, ( i havent played with it for a few months) yet it leaks from the drain line attached to the bottom of the carb. It wasnt leaking before, and all of a sudden, its leaking like a siv. thanks

hmm the float must be sticking causing fuel to keep going into the bowl and it comes out of the overflow tube, it either needs to be cleaned or the float pin isnt on right and is binding on the sides of the carb or something.

Something is causing to much fuel to flow into the float bowl. Could be sticking floats, could be old gas varnish/gunk gumming up the needle valve, or even the rubber portion of the needle valve itself has gotten hard over time therefore not sealing. Pull the bowl off, carefully clean all the varnish out of there and see if that solves the problem first.

Most likely your needle and seat is worn,my 95 Wolverine has the same carb, and I had the gas leak same as you, tried adj. float, cleaning, etc, no luck. had dealer check seal of needle and seat, was leaking by, new needle and seat fixed it, hasnt leaked in years.

so you guys are saying, even if the drain plug screw is tight, it may still leak due to float problems? I know when I first got it, the float was stuck because it wasnt getting any fuel.

Exactly. If the floats stick up high, or the valve seal isn't working, it will leak out the overflow.
