Default banshee rebuild

so i just traded my kx 125 for a yamaha banshee. not sure what year it is (which is dumb on my part). so i got this wheeler in pieces. i split the cases because it threw a rod. once i split the cases i noticed the crank made some gashes on the lower case. turn the upper case over and it smashed the case about 1/2" so it will not seal if i put it back together. so i ordered a case with a new crank. this was a fresh rebuild and it threw a rod. the cylinders have some surface rust on the inside because its been sitting out side. im wondering if i hone the cylinders if that will be good enough to get rid of that, or should i re-sleeve the cylinders? or should i get them bored and how much does that cost? hopefully i will get some feed back and then i have more questions... thanks for any replies

mmm i would take such a crucial problem like this to the banshee experts at BansheeHQ - Home they should be able to guide you into making the right decisions.
