Im looking to purchase a new Kodiak and have heard of a black one. Does anyone know if this is a production quad. I have talked to a lot of dealers who haven't heard of it. Has anyone even seen one? Any info would be much appreciated.

I've seen a picture of a blue one and a black one on this site. Think it's only available in Canada but not sure.

 

I was at one of the local dealers today. There in the showroom was a black and graphite grey/silver Kodiak. Looks great, wanted to buy it, but? I'm in Edmonton,AB., so maybe it's only available in Canada if you haven't seen one. Good luck.

 

Dam, I was at the local Yamaha dealer here in Moncton NB and it was on the showroom floor as well. I had my digital camera with me to take some pics of my buddies new Kodiak. I should have taken a snap shot of it. Oh well, if there out down here then they should be out in the US soon. Funny, I would have thought it would have been introduced there first..

 

Tweeter, I agree with the other guys, that they’re only available in Canada. I personally like the blue one better than the black. With the money you would save by buying it in Canada, it might be worth the drive. Here’s a link to some pictures that I copied off of another posting a while ago.
