Default Yfz power!!

Starting out I have a 07 yfz just about to finish the rebuild, So far I have in it is a hot rod crank, wiseco piston, fmf exhaust, aluminum air box with the enlarged tube, of course jetted, cam retarded, k&n, with a tooth up on the front. I'm looking for more power.....of course i've come to the point to where it's gonna take some money. Any thoughts?? Anybody ran the dynatek ignition??

The ignitions don't do a whole lot on these motors. That might be worth it after you get the head ported/polished and maybe go with a big bore. You said you went up a tooth on the front? Unless you are doing a ton of fire roads and wide open fields, I prefer stock gearing. Going back down a tooth is a sure way to pick up some zip.

Well in the county I live in they allow wheelers so most of the time we ride on the roads but we do hit up trails also. I just went 1 up for the speed so that isn't really something I want to change. On port and polishing is there going to any noticable difference? whats the average port and polish running these days....

You'll feel a big difference with a good port and polish. Go over to raptorforum.com and look up velociraptor, he does excellent work. I am not sure what he charges for the YFZ head but a friend of mine just had his done.
