Default 98 Warrior 350...NEED HELP!!!

i'M stumped

i just bought a used 98 Yamaha Warrior 350 for $400. The wiring is messed up: The head/taillights have shorts, no brake light at all, and i have no "reverse/neutral" indicator lights(if anyone knows where to get a wiring diagram that doesn't look like u have to have an engineering/electrical degree to read & use it..that would be helpful.

Also, it seems to me that it's gettin harder to change the gears...(I'm a novice at 4-wheelers..just so u know)do the gears run off of the engine oil or is there a special reservoir for it's fluid or what? Any other help would be greatly appreciated about solving this gear problem.

The clutch has to be almost completely released before it disengages, Is there an adjustment to correct that so it releases about mid-squeeze of the clutch lever?

My buddy seems to think it runs Hott but it seems to me to be about the same as any other quad i've ever ridden..hott on the right(foot brake) side....is there anyway to check it to see if it is running hot??

The previous owner removed the air filter claiming it drastically killed the performace of the bike. What would cause this, and what should I do about it?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY AND ALL HELP!!!!!
