2002 Kodiak Won't Start
Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can help as I'm getting extrememly frustrated!
I have a friends 2002 Kodiak that was flooded to a point where it was hyrdo locked. I drained all the fuel from the air box, head, changed the oil (yea it was there too), cleaned and rebuilt the carb with a new needle and seat (found dirt or something holding out the needle), checked the valve clearance, put fresh fuel in the tank and installed a fresh plug. The machine turns over well with lots of compression but won't fire. It backfires occasionally when I have the choke on and the throttle pressed in all the way but will not start.
Not sure where to turn and hoping someone can shed some light on this.
Thanks in advance.
