Talking How do I remove the camo?

I have an 05 Kodiak 450 with the realtree hardwood camo. It's faded and ugly now and i would like to remove it. What is the best way?

Default Hey

you could sand them down real good and give them a spray paint and buy some stickers online for the kodiak and put them back on or could just buy new plastics if you got them money..

To make fully get rid of the camo and still have nice plastics you will probably just have to buy new plastics. I would shop around online, you can get complete kits for a fair price. I know it might be expensive but if you still want it to look nice it's probably your safest bet.

If you just sand the plastics down, and rattle can them, they will eventually look even worse. The paint will start to peel and flake off than your back at square one.

The Hydrographics are not removable. New Plastics or pull the old ones and have them painted or rattle can them. I had some plastics painted at a body shop once, came out great and was fairly durable too. I did the prep on them though,.... a lot of sanding, but you need "tooth for good auto paint to adhere well,... and a flex additive in the paint (the stuff they use on those rubber bumpers they put on everything nowadays)....

Good advice. Thanks. I tried to use aerosol paint remover... nothing. Even using a pressure washer, and nothing. I'll either spray them myself, have them rhino lined or buy more online.
