I have picked up a sweet 1999 warrior with bad motor and I have a great running 1987 warrior. So I was thinking of sticking the 87 motor in the newer body. I don't think it should be a big deal but what do you guys think? The 99 is like new and the 87 is a little rough but runs great! Thx for any input...I have pictures on here of my 87. Jeffrey

 

I would do it... If the warrior is a lot nicer then do it. Grab a few beers on the weekend and git r done.

 

youd need a 99 stator and possibly flywheel, the wiring harnesses are different. why is the 99 motor bad

 

a few beers and yes it is way nicer but the motor is junk so I am going to make a good one out of the two and then I will have lot's of extra parts to sell!

 

I do have the 99 motor but the crank is bad. I do have all the parts though!

 

It should be the same motor becuase the Warrior I dont think changed hardly ever.

I don't have a extra one right now. They have them on ebay
