2002 Yamaha Breeze YFA1 Knocking

HI, I have a 2002 Yamaha Breeze YFA1 125cc with an engine Knocking problem. One day I was coming up a hill on a lose chain and my ATVs chain got caught on the front sprocket and it didn't break the sprocket but it broke a part inside the engine and now when I put my ATV in neutral and move it back and forth it makes no sound.When I put it in drive or reverse and move it, or if i'm driving it in drive or reverse It skips, and jerks,and it makes a horrible knocking/banging sound and it honestly sounds like a train is coming up the driveway The sound I am hearing is coming from right near the front sprocket inside the engine. What could I have damaged? Please help me I am desperate to get this fixed because I use this ATV to get around my farm.
