Default 96 350 Warrior Seized

My sons warrior started up today.....ran for a moment then a grinding sound and then shut off and now can pull it over.
what should i check before ripping into the engine?
any known issues?
could it be, piston,crank, valves?

was running perfectly prior to this....

just thinking that because if chain jumped time that could have been grinding noise but like I said don't know much about the internals on worriors
