This is a part I can't identify. I waited too long before putting this thing back together, and I can't recall or figure out what or where this thing is/goes. Thank you! I'm going to bore it over .020 and put a new carb on it. Got great deals on new flat top piston/ring set along with a like-new carburator.

RandyD did you ever determine what was causing the bike not to run with the seat on? I have a friend that has a polaris 700 that does the same thing from time to time.

 

No idea! I'm trying to put it back together now, then bore it and put a new piston in it............thinking maybe a cam...........I dunno.........it is weird, but that is the truth!
