clutch noise on new Grizzly 700
So I have this new grizzly 700 EPS at home with about 1 hour on the meter, when I start it up I hear this ting, ting , ting noise coming from the clutch when it's at idle. Give it just a little gas and the noise stops. Normal? I haven't driven a machine with a clutch like this since Kawasaki made snomobiles so my memory is just a bit rusty.

I have a 2008 Grizzly 700, and I can tell you that is definatley not a normal sound, if it is new, I would take it back to the dealer and have it checked out ASAP, metallic sounds usually mean something is loose, or coming apart, or broken. I would not ride it until you find the source of the noise. If you are really curious, you could pull the footrest and side plastic so you can remove the belt cover and observe it while it idles. Who knows, maybe you will find a socket or something that was dropped in during assembly...I have seen lots of funny stuff bouncing around inside clutch covers.....
