How tough are the rear axles? Having the open axle makes me a bit nervous. My bro has a Honda 350ES and drives me crazy making fun of the wimpy looking axle on my kodiak. Please ya all...save me from this Honda ****....lol I do get even a bit when I mention all the recalls he has had so far on his machine.

Hey kindsambo,
My friend is the same way.
He has a Rancher, and of course honda is the best.
I had a Big Bear and he made fun of that drive shaft, until I bought a Kodiak and made him eat mud all day. Then his toon change.
He was speechless and he don't make fun anymore.
He has a little more respect for other machines and he is not so narrow minded about honda.

Sorry, I should have mentioned I just got my Kodiak in December and I'm still learning what she can do. This is my first ATV so I'm pretty green. I know that the Honda 350ES sucks for jumping...seems really front heavy in the air...the kodiak lands nicely and smoothly on all 4 wheels every time. The Honda may be ok once you got used to it though.

I'm constantly catching about 4 feet of air on my 2000 Kodiak. I have yet to mess up the rear axle. This past Sunday alone, I probably jumped it 30-40 times.

I love the Dirt Devils So far. Tjhe 6 ply tire makes for a stiffer ride...but man do they dig!!! I priced other tires but if i'm going to spend $1,000 plus on tires...they'll be going on my jeep!!! Can't beat them for the price!!!
