98 Timberwolf HELP!
#1
I have a 1998 Yamaha Timberwolf 2x4 that is having some throttle problems. It runs great on idle and will sit and idle for as long as you want it to. However, as soon as you try to give her any throttle it bogs down and dies. I've broken down the carb and everything looks fine I have also checked the timing chain as well. Any ideas out there?

Sounds like a carb issue to me. Sounds like the main jet or needle are clogged and preventing flow. It could also be that the needle clip needs to be raised for quicker fueling but my guess is that something may still be clogged though. Also check for good fuel supply from the tank to the carb.
