In the past six or eight months, two buckets have been sitting under the shed......I have no idea where it coulda come from, no toys, nothings been near it as far as I know............It could only be a spacer, but I am really doubting it belongs inside this Kodiak.

Today my other parts which were on order came in. So when my wife went to the stealer, she took the part. The counter dude and the mechanics said it did not go in an atv engine. So after all this, I can just toss it. I am glad to put this to rest.

Now I'll put this all back together, and soon I'll tear the other end, the top end, apart and do a rebuild. I have a new .020 piston, and have bought a new carb. I can't wait to have all this behind me and get a dependable atv back under me. Trapping season is here, and the coyotes are wild!

Thanx!

OK, here is another. I have once again looked all over the schematics and don't see it. but it does fit the main shaft, but there is no room for it!

Too much time has passed since I tore this down. I may never get it back together. Disgusted.

But I would appreciate any positive input. I think it came from the pull start, but once the side cover is on and the alternator in place, it won't fit. damifino!

I started checking seal sizes and figured it out. But I really appreciate it. Man, after so long, these parts look like putting triangles into circle holes! I'll figure it out though.

Thanx again! Randy D

I'm missing the pull-start apparatus. Once I find that, things will make more sense. Thank you though! Mine was broken anyway,loL. Time to find a used one somewhere.

I appreciate the help.
