5 things you dislike

derek, I wasn't serious....I just couldn't miss this.
Want me to be serious?
1. Double carb=double trouble=double pain when checking (and I do have to check).
2. Have to spend 1/2 hour after each ride to tighten all bolts that got loose.
3. Axle nuts keep loosening (for now only, as soon as I can ride again, I'll get this repaired)
4. Chain tensioning...but the chain I have is pretty tough, and I don't need to do it too often.
5. spongy brakes and ineffective brakes (especially the fronts)....but this too will be repaired with steel braided lines, if not to my liking, then I'll go with Braking pads (instead of EBC), and if still not perfect...R1 4 piston calipers.
6. I'm always the first to run out of fuel! (soon to be repaired with a rack and 1 spare gallon).
As you can see, no big default...maybe I don't ride hard enough. Only the first can hardly be repaired.
7. I can't find anything to replace it with!

1- not fast enough (for me)
2- no reverse (picking it up to move it)
3- bad back brakes
4- stupid 17th century headlight
5- sometimes notchy shifting
My blaster likes:
1- well, besides the stuff above I love it, its great fun, as soon as I get the cash I'll upgrade to a bigger machine, but now Im pretty happy, I love riding it.. it looks cool too

01 Scrambler 500 4x4
1. Way Too heavy. One reason to begin lifting weights
2. Battery is very hard to access. Almost remove rear fender.
3. Have to be careful not to break tranny when jumping-I don't jump, but seems to happen to everyone else on the board
4. Got belt wet once in Silver Lake during a fast splash (this is a redesign?)..but not when submarining in attica
5. First one to run out of gas in the group(91 honda trx 300 and 01 Raptor)
Don't get me wrong, I truly am satisfied with my Scrambler

1. aftermarket parts are hard to find for the older models.
2. doesn't pop wheelies and easy as i would like.
3.breaks down a lot
4.can't beat a banshee (yet)
5.no T-bone seat, powervalve, or any of the features the newer ones have.
LIKE:
1.beats 400EX's when theres traction.

3.handles real nice in the air.
4.i like the way it handles on the ground too.
5. its a 2 stroke.

This is a very good question.. So in no particular order..
Design flaws of my Banshee
- Chain adjustment setup is designed to give you a frontal labotamy
- Steering stopper bends to easily in the event of an indiscretion with physics
- Fuel tank is poorly designed, also seems to mysteriously vaporate any and all fuel in it!
- Stock BMX grade handlebars, Location of handlebar steering stem is to close to the front.
- Airfilter setup is better off on a shopvac, and the intake is a pain to clean.
I think those are my top 5 design flaws, Maybe some of the ATV designers will read this one day and do something about the most commonly accepted design flaws!

5 things I dislike about my Scrambler:
1- Always having to pull Zorro out of the mud.
2- Always having to tow Zorro home because his dual carbs/pipes mess up.
3- Having to be humble because of the awesome power and letting Zorro ride up front. (make him think he's faster..hehe)
4- Having Zorro always ask me to switch rides.
5- Being scrared to leave my quad unattended in case Zorro decides to run off with it!
Warning: I may be exagerating certain details in this post.

Sorry Zorro...couldn't resist!
Here are the "real" 5 things:
1-Weight
2-Cost to mod it to the max
3-Handling
4-Ugly front radiator/bumper
5-Too much traction...won't roost!
Warning: Zorro usually does ride out front. Younger guys are usually more aggressive riders. I am getting older and therefore have an excuse.
He does need a mirror though!
(you know what I mean...hehe)
