Default 2013 Raptor 350 won't stay running

Ok so I bought a brand new yamaha raptor 350 the other day and took it riding today at my friends lot. I was riding pretty good for about 2 hours until I was in 4th gear and I down shifted to first without giving any gas (big mistake and I'm farley new to riding), anyways the quad just shut off and started rolling. I tried to start it back up but it does not start up all the way. It makes like a clicking noise and does nut fully start. I loaded it back up on my trailer and brought it home and tried again. This Time I put the choke on all the way and let it run for a few minutes. I took the choke off and it stayed on. I put it in first and went through all the gears down my street. As I was coming back now it just shut off again. It now does not start all the way (again). I checked the spark plug but it was fine and it is not flooded because I let it sit for about 30 minutes and the float was not emptying fuel or anything. I don't know what is wrong with it and I am going to call the dealership Tuesday when it opens.

Please help!!!

i would wait and take it back to the dealer but it almost sounds like there is trash floating around in the carb bowl.
