Hi guys I have a 05 yfz450 I got with a kicker and no electric start so I went ahead and picked up a stock wire harness along with a moose battery. I do not have the nutruel indicator light. Throttle sensor plug hanging from throttle or any other light setup except the actual front lights. I don't have an ignition eather. I went ahead and got a start button and hooked it up to the ignition wires. I cut #21/22 plug bc a forum said so it has 4 wires 2 brown a sky blue and white/blue wire. Then said to ground the sky blue wire so I did. When I click my button it turns the engine way to slow. So I got a new starter. New relay and a new Cbr battery still the same but I have spark. If I jump the relay it'll turn over as it should but no spark. So my start button fried. I then twisted the 2 ignition wires together to bypass that. Now if I touch that skyblue wire bck to ground it'll turn over slow still. What I'm trying to ask is why the slow turn over does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?? Any help would be highly appreciated!
